1. What Are Standing Orders?
Standing Orders are the rules and expectations that guide how our corps operates. They help cadets know what to do, how to behave, and what is expected during training and events.
2. Why Do We Have Them?
They ensure safety, fairness, and respect for everyone. By following Standing Orders, cadets learn discipline, teamwork, and naval traditions.
3. Who Do They Apply To?
Standing Orders apply to all cadets, officers, and volunteers in the corps, both at weekly training nights and at special events.
4. When Do They Apply?
They apply at all times when a cadet is in uniform, at corps activities, or representing the Navy League of Canada.
5. What Happens If They’re Not Followed?
If cadets do not follow Standing Orders, it may lead to corrections, extra instruction, or disciplinary action. The goal is always to teach, guide, and help cadets improve.
